CDC Museum Open House for Atlanta Visitors

February 4, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

CDC Museum Open House for Atlanta Visitors: The David J. Sencer CDC Museum encourages Atlanta-area Super Bowl attendees – and those visiting to soak up the atmosphere – to keep in mind that the CDC Museum offers a relaxing and educational respite from the week’s activities.

The CDC’s newest exhibition is “By the People: Designing a Better America,” which focuses on humanitarian design solutions in the modern world, examining how design is addressing social, health, economic and environmental challenges faced by communities throughout the United States.

Permanent exhibitions include interactive histories of a wide variety of diseases CDC experts have combatted throughout its history, as well as historic equipment like an iron lung.
