Atlanta Balloon Glow
About this Event
Hot air balloons will glow each evening with tethered balloon rides also available. The event also features the best food vendors, retail vendors and activities for the little ones!
General Admission is FREE!! Balloon activity will be located in The Meadow – which is the South East area of the park close to The Park Tavern.
Tethered rides booked in advance are just $20 per person.
out our balloon rides for couples, where you will have your very own hot air balloon for a few minutes of alone time with your sweetie while taking in the Atlanta Skyline.
Our VIP tickets give you access to a special VIP seating area including climate controlled bathrooms. On arrival you will receive a champagne toast and a ticket to experience a tethered balloon ride plus seating with a great view of the main glow which takes place at 7pm.
All guests experiencing balloon rides must first sign in at our waiver desk to sign our insurance waiver. Here you will be given a token to hand to your balloon pilot when you ride. Without a token, you will be unable to ride. All pre-booked guests must check in by 7:30pm each evening.
Terms and Conditions
*Event is rain or shine.
*Balloon activity is subject to suitable weather conditions. Should balloon activity be postponed, tickets will be valid at future Midflo events and / or rain out dates to be held if and as required.
*Tickets purchased through Eventbrite are strictly non refundable.
*Tethered rides will begin as close to 5pm as the weather conditions permit and will operate until 9pm or until weather conditions dictate. We advise guests to arrive in good time and to please be patient. Sometimes balloon activity can be delayed or curtailed by the weather – please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on weather conditions and event information.
*The main balloon glow consists of around ten balloons and will begin around 7pm subject to suitable weather conditions. The main glow will last around one hour.
*There is no car parking available at Piedmont Park during the event and we ask that all guests travel by Public Transport and / or MARTA. There is a significant parking permit scheme for residents in the local neighborhood, and Midflo or the Atlanta Balloon Glow cannot accept any responsibility for cars that may be ticketed or towed.
*Picnic blankets and camping chairs are permitted but no coolers please.
*The Atlanta Balloon Glow is a smoke free environment – please consider others and exit the park if you need to smoke. Thanks for your kindness!
